1. Purpose and scope of these Terms
These Terms set out the conditions that apply when you browse cashcage.com, create or access an account, view wagering markets, submit selections, use account tools or communicate with CashCage. References to “CashCage”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the legal operator identified in the operator details for this website. References to “you”, “your”, “customer” or “member” mean the individual using the service.
Additional rules may apply to particular sports, racing products, promotions, competitions, payment methods or account features. Those additional rules form part of these Terms. If a specific rule conflicts with a general provision, the specific rule will apply to the relevant market or feature to the extent of that conflict.
2. Age, eligibility and location rules
CashCage is intended only for people aged 18 years or older who are legally permitted to use wagering services in their location. You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and must not access the service from a location where the activity is prohibited or restricted.
- You must provide truthful, current and complete information.
- You must use the service only for yourself and not as an agent for another person.
- You must not use the service while self-excluded, suspended or otherwise prohibited from gambling.
- You must not attempt to disguise your location, identity or eligibility.
- You must not use funds or payment methods that you are not authorised to use.
CashCage may use account information, device information, technical signals and location indicators to assess whether access is permitted. Access may be refused or restricted where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
3. Details submitted during registration
When you provide registration information, you confirm that the information belongs to you and is accurate. Depending on applicable requirements, CashCage may ask for evidence of identity, age, residential address, payment ownership, source of funds or other information relevant to account verification.
Submitting a registration form does not guarantee account approval. CashCage may delay, restrict or refuse account access where information is incomplete, inconsistent or cannot be verified, or where there is a reasonable concern about fraud, identity misuse, unlawful activity, responsible-gambling restrictions or a breach of these Terms.
4. Account security and access details
You are responsible for keeping passwords, authentication codes and devices secure. Credentials should not be shared with any other person. Use a strong, unique password and sign out after using a shared or public device.
If you suspect that another person has accessed your account, contact support promptly and change your credentials where possible. CashCage may temporarily restrict account activity while a security review is carried out. Any liability for unauthorised activity remains subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the incident.
5. Information presented on the site
CashCage aims to present event times, participants, prices, results, statistics and market information accurately. Sports and racing information can, however, change at short notice and may depend on external feeds or official event sources. Displayed start times are indicative and may be updated without advance notice.
Statistics, previews, form information and editorial material are provided for general information. They are not financial advice, a guarantee of an outcome or a promise of profit. You remain responsible for your own decisions and should check the market terms before submitting a wager.
6. Wager submissions and acceptance
Adding a selection to a bet slip does not by itself mean that a wager has been accepted. Before acceptance, availability, price, stake, account status, market status and any applicable limits may be checked. A wager is accepted only when a confirmation or transaction reference is issued by the service.
A request may be rejected or limited before acceptance because of a price movement, market suspension, event change, technical issue, integrity concern, account restriction, regulatory requirement, responsible-gambling control or risk-management decision.
7. Odds and price movements
Odds can change before a wager is accepted. If the available price changes after a selection has been added to the bet slip, you may be required to review and accept the updated price before continuing. An outdated price shown on a previous screen does not create an entitlement to that price.
Where an obvious pricing, participant, market or calculation error occurs, CashCage may correct, void or resettle the affected wager in accordance with applicable law and the rules that govern the relevant market.
8. Suspended, cancelled or postponed markets
Markets may be suspended when an event starts, when material information becomes available or where integrity or operational concerns arise. Events that are postponed, abandoned, cancelled, relocated, shortened or otherwise materially changed are handled under the rules for the relevant sport, racing code or market.
Depending on the market rules, a rescheduled event may remain valid for a specified period or may be treated as void. Venue changes, participant substitutions, race-distance changes and shortened formats can also affect the status or settlement of a market.
9. Results and settlement
Wagers are generally settled by reference to the official result declared by the recognised event organiser, governing body or authorised data source. Later appeals or corrections may not alter settlement unless the applicable market rule provides otherwise.
Dead-heat rules, deductions, abandoned-event provisions, tie rules and sport-specific settlement conditions may apply. If a settlement error is identified, the affected result and associated account records may be corrected in accordance with the applicable rules and law.
10. Payments and payment-method ownership
Deposits and withdrawals must use payment methods that the account holder is authorised to use. CashCage may request additional information to verify ownership, prevent fraud or satisfy legal and regulatory obligations. Available payment methods, processing times and limits may vary.
CashCage may delay or refuse a payment where verification is incomplete, the transaction appears unauthorised, responsible-gambling controls apply, a security review is in progress or the law requires further checks. Third-party banks and payment providers may also apply their own fees, limits and processing times.
11. Promotional and bonus offers
Promotions may have separate eligibility criteria, expiry dates, qualifying markets, turnover requirements, maximum benefits or other restrictions. The terms displayed with a promotion form part of these Terms for that offer.
CashCage may refuse or withdraw a promotion where eligibility conditions are not satisfied, where there is evidence of misuse or where the offer has been presented incorrectly. Promotional participation is always subject to applicable law and responsible-gambling requirements.
12. Activities that are not permitted
You must not misuse the website, accounts, markets, promotions, payment functions or technical systems. Prohibited conduct includes fraud, account sharing, identity misuse, collusion, unlawful activity, use of stolen or unauthorised payment methods, interference with service operation and attempts to exploit an obvious error.
You must also not use automated tools to access the service in a manner that causes unreasonable load, circumvents controls or extracts protected data without permission. CashCage may investigate suspicious activity and may restrict access while the investigation is conducted.
13. Safer-gambling controls
Gambling carries a real risk of financial loss and should not be treated as a way to earn income. CashCage may provide or apply tools such as deposit limits, account breaks, self-exclusion, marketing restrictions and account reviews. Further information is available on the Responsible Gambling page.
Where responsible-gambling restrictions are active, attempts to avoid or override them may result in further account restrictions. Independent support is available through Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 and through Australia’s BetStop self-exclusion register.
14. Site access and technical interruptions
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network issues, external provider failures, security controls or other operational reasons. CashCage does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
If a technical issue affects a wager request, the account record and the service confirmation are used to determine whether the wager was accepted. A selection displayed in a browser without a confirmed transaction does not by itself establish acceptance.
15. Ownership of content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the CashCage brand, website design, software, text, graphics, interfaces and original content are owned by or licensed to the CashCage operator. Sports names, team names, competition marks and third-party logos may belong to their respective owners.
You may use the website for personal, lawful access to the service. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, reverse engineer or commercially exploit protected site content except where permission has been granted or the law permits that use.
16. External providers and third-party links
CashCage may rely on third-party providers for data, payments, identity verification, hosting, communications, analytics or other operational services. External websites linked from CashCage are operated under their own terms and privacy practices.
A link to another service does not mean that CashCage controls or guarantees that service. Before providing information to an external website, review the terms and privacy information published by that provider.
17. Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, CashCage is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from events outside its reasonable control, including telecommunications failures, external data errors, device issues or third-party service interruptions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. Any limitation is to be interpreted only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
18. Your responsibility to indemnify us
Where permitted by law, you may be responsible for losses, costs or claims that arise from your unlawful use of the service, deliberate breach of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights or misuse of payment methods or account credentials.
This provision does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss was caused by CashCage or where the law does not permit the responsibility to be transferred to you.
19. Complaints, reviews and disputes
If you have a concern about an account, wager, payment, privacy matter or the operation of the website, contact the support or complaints channel listed on the Contact page. Provide enough information for the matter to be located and reviewed.
The Complaints page explains the internal review process and the external escalation route available through the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission.
20. Updates to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in law, regulation, products, providers, security practices or service operation. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Where a change is material, additional notice may be provided through the website, account communications or another appropriate channel. Continued use after an update is subject to applicable law and the effective terms then in force.
21. General legal provisions
If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to operate to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a right does not automatically waive that right.
CashCage operates under the Northern Territory wagering regulatory framework and applicable Australian law. The licensing authority and licence details are set out below.
22. How to contact us
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the Contact page. Complaints should use the complaints channel, and privacy requests should use the privacy contact listed in the Privacy Policy.
